Five Members of Changwon City Sustainable Development Council
Hold Relay No. 2 Donation Ceremony for 5 Million Won
On the 14th, Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held the 2nd donation relay ceremony for the operation of a functional recovery program for families of abused children at the city hall reception room.
The second donor in this relay was Jeon Young-ho and Ahn Byeong-seok, co-chairmen of the Changwon Sustainable Development Council, along with members Gong Byeong-cheol, Cha Seong-mok, and Hong Jong-chil, who each donated 1 million won, totaling 5 million won.

View original imageThe donated funds will be used to support various programs aimed at restoring the functions of families of abused children who require intensive case management and preventing re-abuse.
Chairman Jeon, who participated in the donation, said, “Recently, child abuse has become a major issue. Although I am a member of an organization operated with Changwon city subsidies, I am personally glad to participate in this meaningful donation. All the chairmen who joined today hope that it will help restore the family functions of abused children.”
Deputy Mayor Jo Myeong-rae expressed gratitude to the members of the Changwon Sustainable Development Council who united their hearts for families of abused children, saying, “Through this donation relay, we will strive to make child abuse ZERO in our city and ensure that all children grow up in a healthy environment.”

The donation relay project titled “Even if Scratched by Petals, Scars Remain” for families of abused children in Changwon Special City has been implemented since May. In this project, donors contribute 1 million won or more for abused children and then nominate or voluntarily donate to the next participant.
