View original imageThe European Economic Research Center (ZEW) announced on the 13th (local time) that the Eurozone Economic Sentiment Index for June was recorded at -10. This was better than the expected -11.9.
The ZEW Economic Sentiment Index is an indicator of the Eurozone's economic outlook for the next six months. A figure above 0 indicates an optimistic economic outlook, while a figure below 0 indicates a pessimistic outlook. It is calculated based on a survey of 350 German institutional investors and analysts.
