Meeting of Former and Current Gyeongbuk Provincial Assembly Members, 'Gyeongbuk Uijeonghoe' Elects An Wonhyo as 13th Chairman
The Gyeongbuk Assembly Association, a group of current and former Gyeongbuk Provincial Assembly members, held its 2023 regular general meeting on the 13th at the Grand Hotel in Suseong-gu, Daegu, and elected Assemblyman An Won-hyo (72) from Andong as the 13th president, succeeding the 12th term.
Assemblyman An Won-hyo served as a member of the 5th Gyeongbuk Provincial Assembly, participating in the Education Committee and Planning Committee, and from 2017 to 2018,
he served as the senior vice president of the Gyeongbuk Assembly Association and received a presidential citation in 2013 for his contributions to revitalizing the association's operations.
He also served as the inaugural member of the Andong City Council and held positions such as president of the Andong City Pharmaceutical Association and head of the Andong branch of the Korea Freedom Federation.

In 2021, he was unanimously elected by members to assume the presidency of the 12th term, a position he holds to this day.
At the general meeting, Assemblymen Yoo Pan-sik and Baek Cheon-bong from Gumi were respectively reappointed and elected as auditors of the Gyeongbuk Assembly Association.
