Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station Conducts Vehicle Door Opening Drill for Traffic Accident Preparedness
Gwangju Bukbu Fire Station announced on the 14th that it is conducting special training from the 12th to the 19th to prepare for traffic accidents and vehicle fires.
This training was promoted to expand the initial response scope and enhance the capabilities of on-site activity personnel who arrive first at disaster scenes. It focused on practical training for proficiency and mastery through various rescue techniques using scrapped vehicles and sharing safe and proactive on-site activity know-how, targeting all personnel before on-site activities with 119 rescue team members as training instructors.
The main training contents include ▲door opening and window breaking practice using scrapped vehicles ▲life-saving training using virtual victims ▲training to minimize vehicle damage ▲mastery training for door opening using hydraulic equipment and cutters ▲basic first aid for rescue subjects.
