L&K Biomed Ships First PassLock-TA... 'Accelerating Growth in the US'
Spinal implant company L&K Biomed announced on the 13th that its height-adjustable lumbar anterior interbody fusion cage, 'PassLock-TA,' has embarked on its first export to the U.S. market.
On the previous day, L&K Biomed held a shipment ceremony for the first export of PassLock-TA to the U.S. market at its factory in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, with company executives including Son Woo-geun, head of the Production Technology Division, in attendance.
L&K Biomed's 'PassLock-TA' is a height-adjustable lumbar anterior interbody fusion (ALIF) cage. Unlike surgical techniques that approach from the back, this method approaches from the abdomen and is mainly used for the lower lumbar region. Because it does not damage bones or nerves, there is less bleeding during surgery and a lower risk of complications and infections.
With the launch of PassLock-TA, L&K Biomed has entered the U.S. market with height-adjustable cages capable of accommodating all five spinal approaches?anterior, posterior, and lateral?following the global U.S. company Globus Medical.
