Gyeonggi Office of Education Strengthens Digital Civic Education... Practice School Workshop
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will hold the 'Digital Citizenship Competency Education Practice School Workshop' twice to promote the spread of digital citizenship education and the formation of a practice school network.
Digital Citizenship Competency Education Practice Schools are schools that apply digital competencies and technologies throughout the school curriculum based on ethical standards. There are 100 such elementary, middle, and high schools in the province.
On the 13th, the Office of Education announced that it will hold a workshop for 100 principals of the Digital Citizenship Competency Education Practice Schools, followed by an additional workshop for 200 teachers from these schools on the 17th.
This workshop is designed to share ▲understanding of digital competencies ▲digital competency education methods ▲cases of operating digital citizenship competency education.
In particular, the principals' workshop on the 13th will be linked with the Digital Citizenship One-Team to emphasize understanding students in the digital world, while the teachers' workshop will focus on practical curriculum-linked teaching cases that provide real assistance.
