UNIST is recruiting the 6th batch of trainees for the ‘AI Novatus Academia,’ a program designed to train AI specialists tailored to industry needs.

AI Novatus Academia is an industry AI specialist training program operated at the UNIST AI Innovation Park. The program trains more than 50 field engineers from industry into AI experts every year.

The 6th batch of trainees will be recruited online for two weeks from the 12th to the 23rd of this month. The training period is scheduled to run for about five months, every Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., starting July 7.

Professors from the UNIST Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence will directly deliver lectures for AI Novatus Academia. During eight weeks of theoretical education, participants will acquire the basics of AI, the latest technologies, and industrial application cases.

After completing the basic education, participants will engage in 12 weeks of project-based learning, where they will directly solve problems from their own companies under the guidance of professors, experiencing processes such as data collection, preprocessing, AI model development, and validation.
