Korean Female BJ with 250,000 Followers Found Dead in Cambodia
A Korean female BJ with 250,000 followers in Cambodia was found dead. Local police arrested a Chinese couple who abandoned the woman in a pond.
According to the Cambodian daily Rasmei Kampuchea on the 10th, the body of a woman wrapped in a mat was found abandoned in a pond near Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on the 6th.
Local police identified the woman as a Korean tourist, Ms. A. She was an internet broadcasting BJ with 150,000 regular viewers and an influencer with over 250,000 followers on social media accounts.
Ms. A had traveled to Cambodia with an acquaintance and was reportedly treated at a local hospital. She had been actively working on a domestic internet broadcasting platform until the end of last year. Ms. A stopped her activities on the platform after the end of last year and later expressed her intention to quit being a BJ.
The police arrested a Chinese couple in their 30s who run a hospital locally on suspicion of abandoning Ms. A’s body.
During the investigation with local police, the couple reportedly stated, “Ms. A visited the hospital, received a serum injection, was hospitalized, and died after having a seizure during treatment.”
The police believe the couple wrapped Ms. A’s deceased body in a red mat, loaded it into a car, transported it, and abandoned it in the pond.
