Woori Bank Launches 'Woori Tintin', a Prepaid Service Exclusively for Teenagers
Woori Bank announced on the 11th that it will launch 'Woori Tintin,' a prepaid service exclusively for teenagers, in collaboration with BC Card.
Teenagers can easily use financial services such as bank accounts and check cards through the Woori WON Banking app by verifying their identity via mobile phone, even without a bank account.
Using a prepaid virtual account, they can make deposits and withdrawals just like with a regular account, and by issuing a prepaid card, they can freely use it at 3.4 million BC Card merchant stores. However, usage is restricted in industries harmful to teenagers for their protection. The prepaid account can hold up to 500,000 KRW, and transfers and payments are allowed within 500,000 KRW per day and 2,000,000 KRW per month.
