100 Lotte Aluminum Employees and Family Members Support Children Facing Food Crisis
Installing PET Collection Machines for Resource Recycling
Lotte Aluminium, a company producing cathode foils for secondary batteries, announced on the 9th that over 100 employees and their families participated in the International Children's Marathon held on the 3rd.
The International Children's Marathon is an event designed to help children and families facing food crises due to climate emergencies. It consists of a 4km mini marathon course and a program where participants complete missions every 1km. The event was organized by the international child rights NGO Save the Children.

An employee who participated said, "It was meaningful to take part in such a significant event with my family," adding, "I want to continue engaging in various social contribution activities to protect our children's right to survival and ensure they are cared for and educated in a safe environment."

The ‘ALYOU Project’ supports abused children and their perpetrators in the Ansan area by providing psychological assessments and treatment costs, as well as offering diverse assistance such as living expenses, education fees, and housing environment improvements to children in crisis situations.
