Increase in Golf Memberships with Stable Prices... 'Slowing Growth Rate'

The summer off-season golf membership market remains steady. In the central region, the rate of increase has slowed, but trading volume is maintained without any declining items.
According to the Donga Membership Trading Center on the 10th, the average price of 100 major memberships traded nationwide rose 0.28% from last week to 241.97 million KRW. By price range, the ultra-high price segment increased by 0.23%, the high price segment by 0.10%, and the mid-price segment by 0.49%. Conversely, the low price segment fell by 0.08%. The Donga Membership Trading Center stated, "Corporate purchase orders remain steady, and inquiries for weekday memberships continue," adding, "It is expected that a differentiated market trend will appear by item."
The average price in the central region rose 0.19% from last week to 273.01 million KRW. 88 and New Seoul showed a steady trend as new listings appeared. Giheung rose 0.75% due to accumulated purchase orders. Hwasan jumped 1.87% with additional corporate purchase orders. Newspringville increased by 2.63%, and Jayudo by 1.64%. Among the low-price items, Hanwon rose 1.72% due to an influx of individual buyers.
Team Leader Park Cheon-ju said, "As the summer off-season begins, the number of items showing a steady trend has increased. The central region membership market is showing a slight upward trend without any declining items," and forecasted, "With accumulated low-price purchase orders, the steady trend is expected to continue."
The average price in the southern region is 161.62 million KRW, up 0.70% from last week. The buying momentum for low-price memberships appears to be turning cautious. Yongwon fell 1.14% due to only accumulated low-price purchases. Pamihills also dropped 1.00% as high-priced listings were not resolved. Bora rose 3.17% with increased corporate purchase orders.
