Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk announced that two villages, Sinrim-ri in Uljin-eup and Giseong-ri in Giseong-myeon, have been finally selected as new target sites for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs' public project, the '2024 Vulnerable Area Living Condition Improvement Project.'

View original imageThe Vulnerable Area Living Condition Improvement Project plans to invest 2 billion KRW in the Sinrim-ri area of Uljin-eup and approximately 2.1 billion KRW in the Giseong-ri area of Giseong-myeon over four years from 2024 to 2027. Various residential environment improvement projects for local residents will be promoted, including the renovation of old houses, expansion of infrastructure for living, hygiene, and safety, village environment improvement, and support for strengthening residents' capabilities.
