Yongsan-gu, New Court-Exclusive Unmanned Civil Service Issuance Machine Installed
Yongsan-gu Comprehensive Administrative Town 2nd Floor Civil Service Office... Issuance Started on May 25
Improving Convenience for Corporate Civil Complaints with Issuance of Corporate Seal Certificates, Corporate Registration Certificates, and Real Estate Registration Certificates
Yongsan-gu installed a 'court-exclusive unmanned issuance machine' within the district's Comprehensive Administrative Town and started the service on the 25th of last month.
This is the first installation of a court-exclusive unmanned issuance machine in the area.
To enhance convenience for corporate civil complaint processing, the district requested the Court Administration Office to install the court-exclusive unmanned civil complaint issuance machine in January and received approval in April. Procurement, purchase, and communication connection of the issuance machine were carried out in May.
The location of the court-exclusive unmanned issuance machine is on the 2nd floor of the district office’s Comprehensive Civil Service Office, and the operating hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The issued documents include three types: Corporate Seal Certificate, Corporate Registration Certificate, and Real Estate Registration Certificate. The fee is 1,000 KRW per certificate, payable by cash or card.
An official from the district stated, “When handling tasks such as changing the representative of a food business, submission of a corporate seal certificate is required,” adding, “Until now, if the certificate was not brought, it caused the inconvenience of having to revisit.”
The former Yongsan Registry Office (Munbae-dong) was integrated into the Seoul Western District Court’s registration department in February 2019. There are about 7,300 registered corporations in the area, but without a local registry office, residents had to use registry offices in other areas or the internet registry office.
In addition, the district operates a total of 24 unmanned civil complaint issuance machines. They can issue 108 types of civil documents including resident registration certificates and abstracts, military service certificates, building registers, and national pension subscription certificates.
