Daegu Suseong Cultural Foundation Hosts 'Deulan Art Mall' at Dongdaegu Shinsegae Department Store
Exhibition of 24 Workshop Artworks
Daegu Suseong Cultural Foundation will hold the ‘Deulan Art Mall’ from the 9th to the 11th at the Shinsegae Department Store Dongdaegu Branch Culture Hall (8th floor).
This event, with participation from 24 workshops in the Daegu area, will sell various crafts such as ceramics, daily objects, and clothing designed and made directly by the artists. It will also offer craft experiences including flower classes, hand mirror making, folk painting, and creating personalized perfumes.
The venue will feature various attractions and photo zones that evoke nostalgia, a photo exhibition capturing the old scenes of Suseong-gu, and prize events through various activities. In particular, the event is expected to be even more abundant with mime performances that bring laughter and healing.
In the Sang-dong and Doosan-dong areas of Suseong-gu, various craft artists specializing in ceramics, leather, woodworking, candles, and more are active. Suseong-gu has named this organically formed area Deulan Art Village and is conducting cultural urban regeneration.
