Jirisan Yeongoksa Temple Donates 5 Million Won for Neighborly Love Fundraising
On the 5th, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that Jirisan Yeongoksa Temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism donated 5 million won to help neighbors in need within the district.
The head monk of Yeongoksa Temple said, "Although these are difficult times for everyone, we prepared the donation to bring at least some hope to neighbors in need in the area. We will continue to practice sharing in accordance with the Buddha's teachings."
County Governor Kim Soon-ho said, "We deeply appreciate Jirisan Yeongoksa Temple for practicing sharing, and the donated funds will be properly delivered to neighbors in need."
