Daehong Planning Hosts the '40th DCA University Student Advertising Awards'
Metaverse Contest Registration Open Until the 12th
Daehong Planning announced on the 7th that it plans to conduct the 'DCA University Student Advertising Awards,' which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, in a new way.

According to Daehong Planning, this year's DCA University Student Advertising Awards introduced a method where participants choose the brand and task instead of a uniform contest assignment to encourage the creativity of the Gen Z generation. Participants select one of the eight brands participating in this contest, including ▲Lotte Chilsung Beverage Lemon Jin ▲Lotte GRS Lotteria ▲Lotte Wellfood Pepero ▲Cell Fusion C Sunscreen ▲Nexen Tire, and then combine one of the tasks?raising national awareness, MZ generation marketing ideas, or ESG campaign ideas?to submit a proposal or work.
Additionally, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the university student contest, Daehong Planning will introduce a metaverse space integrating submission guidelines, registration, judging, award ceremony, and exhibition of winning works under the theme "Show a Different Dimension of Creativity."
This year's submissions will be accepted until the 12th in the DCA University Student Advertising Awards metaverse. After evaluation by a judging panel composed of industry advertising professionals and academic experts, finalists and winners will be selected. Ten winning teams will receive a total prize of 25 million KRW and an award certificate NFT (Non-Fungible Token), and the grand prize winner will receive 10 million KRW along with an internship opportunity at Daehong Planning.

Meanwhile, the DCA University Student Advertising Awards, which started in 1984 with the purpose of industry-academia cooperation and nurturing prospective advertisers, has produced over 1,700 winners and numerous advertising professionals over the past 39 years. It is regarded as a representative university student advertising contest where about 4,000 students compete with their ideas every year.
