Gyeonggi Office of Education Takes Steps to Resolve Family Psychological Issues and Restore Home Character Education
The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is operating a 'Family Psychological Recovery Program' to resolve psychological issues within families and restore the role of character education at home.
On the 7th, the Office of Education announced plans to develop a family psychological recovery program centered on local education support offices tailored to regional circumstances and characteristics, aiming to expand communication between parents and children and support student growth.
Accordingly, the education support offices will collaborate with professional counseling agencies to provide support such as relieving parenting stress, family counseling to understand children, and group counseling. Additionally, various programs including activity-centered father education, programs with children, and educational lectures will be operated on weekends.
In particular, considering regional characteristics, counseling for multicultural family parents in areas with a high concentration of multicultural families and counseling for families of students who are victims or at risk of school violence will be expanded.
