Bank of Korea "Promoting Advancement of Service Trade Statistics with Ministry of Economy and Finance"
The Bank of Korea announced on the 5th that it plans to advance service trade statistics in collaboration with government ministries such as the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
This advancement project is part of the 'Service Export Policy and Support System Innovation Plan' announced by the government on the same day.
The goal is to develop trade statistics related to promising service industries such as content, healthcare, and information and communication technology (ICT) to help revitalize the service industry and exports.
Specific details such as the target industries for the statistics, publication frequency, and detailed items will be prepared later by forming a joint working group with relevant ministries.

The Bank of Korea stated, "We hope this service trade statistics advancement project will develop into a successful collaboration case between the Bank of Korea and the government for the development of the national economy," and emphasized, "We will continue to fulfill our role as the nation's think tank through research, surveys, and statistics development on major mid- to long-term tasks."
