Recruiting Expert Volunteers for Yi Yuksa Life and Literature Exhibition Interpretation
Seongbuk-gu Jongam-dong ‘Cultural Space Yi Yuk-sa’ Recruiting Participants for Exhibition Interpretation Volunteer Program
After completing the training, volunteers will work as professional exhibition interpreters at Cultural Space Yi Yuk-sa
Training held every Wednesday from June 14 to July 5, total of 4 sessions
Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) is recruiting residents to participate in the professional exhibition interpretation volunteer training course at ‘Cultural Space Yi Yuk-sa’ (located in Jongam-dong) until the 13th of this month.
‘Cultural Space Yi Yuk-sa’ is a complex cultural space that commemorates Yi Yuk-sa, an independence activist and poet, cultivating local culture through exhibitions and educational experience programs.
This training will be held from June 14 to July 5, every Wednesday at the Seongbuk-gu Volunteer Center (located in Jangwi-dong) and ‘Cultural Space Yi Yuk-sa’.
The training consists of four sessions: ▲Introduction to Cultural Space Yi Yuk-sa ▲Life and Literature of Yi Yuk-sa ▲Basics of Exhibition Interpretation ▲Exhibition Interpretation Practice. After completion, participants will serve as professional volunteers providing rich exhibition interpretation to citizens visiting Cultural Space Yi Yuk-sa.
Mayor Lee Seung-ro said, “This volunteer activity is very meaningful as local residents promote and preserve our region’s historical and cultural resources,” and added, “We hope many residents will show interest and participate in the professional exhibition interpretation volunteer activities.”
Applications can be submitted via Google Form on the Seongbuk-gu Office website, Seongbuk-gu Volunteer Center website, and Cultural Space Yi Yuk-sa blog.
