Changwon Special City, Lifestyle Bicycle Nubija Roams Through the Urban Area
The ‘2023 Living Bicycle Riding Parade’ event was successfully concluded at the Meeting Plaza area within Changwon Sports Park in Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam.
Held on the 4th, the event was organized by the Changwon Special City Living Bicycle Riding Practice Council and hosted by Changwon Special City. It was attended by approximately 800 participants including Jo Myung-rae, the 2nd Vice Mayor of Changwon City, National Assembly member Kim Young-sun, Kim Yi-geun, Chairman of the Changwon Special City Council, members of the Gyeongsangnam-do and Changwon Special City councils, as well as families and bicycle enthusiasts. The event featured a bicycle parade, invited singer performances, and various experience booths.

View original imageThe parade included about 200 shared Plus Nubija bicycles, which underwent a complete system transformation this year with the installation of terminals using location information recognition devices to enhance citizen convenience, and a payment system enabled by attaching terminals for rental and return.
Citizens riding the shared Plus Nubija bicycles toured the city, starting from the Meeting Plaza, passing through City Hall Intersection - Changwon Hospital - Samdong Intersection - City Seven, and returning to the Meeting Plaza, completing a 9 km course.
Additionally, various side events such as invited singer performances and experience booths were prepared to provide great enjoyment for citizens who did not participate in the bicycle parade.
