Uljin-gun Promotes 'Hupo Central Downtown Signboard Improvement Project'
Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will replace old signs with beautiful and distinctive ones through the 'Hupo Central Downtown Sign Improvement Project.'
Uljin-gun is promoting a signboard improvement project in the central business district of Hupo.
View original imageThis project was selected for the '2023 Gyeongbuk Province Sign Improvement Contest' and will invest a total of 450 million KRW to complete the replacement of signs for about 125 businesses within a 2 km area of Hupo-myeon downtown (Old National Road No. 7), from Geumgang Panel Building Materials Store to Hupo Express Gas Station, by November this year.
The county expects that the sign improvement project, reflecting local characteristics, will provide a beautiful streetscape for tourists and residents, save energy with LED lighting at night, and greatly contribute to revitalizing the local economy through improved nighttime scenery.
