LINE announced on the 2nd that its messenger's profile image creation service, 'LINE Profile Studio,' has launched an 'AI Selfie' feature that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to automatically generate various styles of images based on photos uploaded by users.
The 'AI Selfie' can be used directly within the profile studio on the profile screen of the LINE messenger app without the need to download a separate app. When users upload between 10 and 20 of their own photos, five different styles are offered, including 'Basic,' which closely resembles the original photo, 'Fantasy,' which has a virtual character feel, and 'Art,' which looks like a watercolor or pencil drawing.
The pricing is structured into two packages based on image generation time: ▲130 coins for generating 100 images after 24 hours ▲260 coins for generating 100 images in a short time. Utilizing AI learning technology, even if the same photos are uploaded, the images generated each time have a different feel.
