"Office Workers Practice Walking 10,000 Steps a Day"…Geonhyeop Hosts 'Workers WalkOn Challenge'
The Korea Health Management Association announced on the 2nd that it will conduct the 'Workers, Walk on Challenge for Workers in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Welfare' throughout June. About 300 people from 25 companies nationwide will participate in this challenge.
This challenge aims to practice walking 10,000 steps a day for health promotion. To encourage participants, the Association will give gifticons each time they reach 150,000 and 300,000 steps during the period. An event will also be held where participants who post walking verification on the application (app) bulletin board will be entered into a draw to win prizes. The company with the highest walking participation will receive health support funds.
Kim Inwon, Chairman of the Korea Health Management Association, said, "I hope this challenge becomes an opportunity for employees to reflect on their health and check their daily step count, and a channel of communication for companies to connect with their employees through health."
