BGF Retail-Police Agency-Child Rights Protection Agency, Children's Safety Drawing Contest Awards Ceremony
BGF Retail, the operator of convenience store CU, announced on the 31st that it held an awards ceremony for the winners of the '2023 Child Safety Drawing Contest,' organized in collaboration with the National Police Agency and the Child Rights Protection Agency.

The Child Safety Drawing Contest has been held since 2021 with various safety-related themes to help children learn safety response rules by drawing pictures themselves and to foster a child-friendly culture in our society. This year, the contest was conducted under three themes: ▲ iCU Campaign (Our Happy Neighborhood with Mini Police Station CU) ▲ Child Abuse Prevention (Our Feelings We Want to Convey to Adults) ▲ Child Disappearance Prevention (Knowing the Principles of Preventing Missing and Abduction).
In the iCU Campaign category, the Grand Prize awarded by the CEO of BGF Retail went to participants Park Geon-woo (Kindergarten), Won Ji-o (Elementary), and Jeong Ji-woon (Middle and High School). In the Child Abuse Prevention category, the Commissioner of the National Police Agency Award was given to Jo Seo-yeon (Kindergarten and Lower Elementary), Lee Yoo-jin (Upper Elementary and Middle School), and Jeon Ji-eun (High School). In the Child Disappearance Prevention category, the Minister of Health and Welfare Award was presented to Kim Ha-young (Kindergarten), Heo Min-woo (Elementary), and Jeon Gyu-ri (Middle and High School). These winners received certificates and scholarships.

Additionally, 27 winners of the Excellence Award in each category, 60 recipients of the Good Friend Award, 1,000 participants receiving Participation Awards, and 5 group awardees were also granted scholarships and CU mobile gift certificates as prizes.
