Jeju Yeondong 119 Center Operates Fire Safety Experience Booth
Gang Seongcheol, Chief of Jeju Yeondong 119 Center (Fire Captain), announced on the 30th that a fire safety experience booth was operated at the playground of Sinjeju Elementary School on the 28th.

Four personnel, including firefighters from Yeondong 119 Center and Yeondong Volunteer Fire Brigade members (Captain Kim Youngjong, Go Sujeong), participated in the event to manage safety at the Yeondong Residents' Unity Sports Festival, while also conducting CPR training and promoting the installation of residential fire safety equipment such as fire extinguisher usage.
The main activities included CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) usage training, fire extinguisher usage instructions, hands-on CPR experience using practice mannequins, and fostering a community safety atmosphere through promotion of residential fire safety equipment installation.
The Chief of Yeondong 119 Center stated, “To prevent casualties caused by fires, we will directly promote fire safety to local residents and strive to ensure the smooth installation of residential fire safety equipment in vulnerable households. We ask for the active cooperation of related organizations and all Yeondong residents.”
