On the 27th, Governor Kim said, "To celebrate the 2567th Buddha's Birthday, I attended the Buddha's Birthday Celebration Ceremony at Bongseonsa Temple, a thousand-year-old temple in Namyangju," adding, "Amid the gentle spring rain, the precious words of Chief Monk Chogyeok and the lanterns filling the temple sky illuminated the darkness within my heart."
He continued, "The country is in turmoil," pointing out, "Politics is corrupt, the economy is difficult, international relations are unstable, and society is divided and conflicted."
In particular, he criticized, "Life is determined by the environment one is born into, those with vested interests do not let go and strive to expand them further, and those in power exercise it without restraint."
