According to a statement from the Augusta District Attorney's Office in Georgia, Cunningham stated that he shot Harrington, a mother of three and his mistress, in the back of the head because she "insulted his masculinity."
According to a statement obtained from WRDW broadcasting station, Cunningham told investigators that on June 18, 2020, around 6 a.m., he met Harrington at the Augusta Convention Center parking lot and decided to end their affair.
The two argued at the location about Harrington's new boyfriend. When Harrington mocked Cunningham by saying his "private parts" were smaller compared to her new boyfriend, Cunningham became enraged and shot her in the head.
