According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters on the 26th, a nearby resident reported the fire at the pigsty to 119.
At the scene, 45 firefighters and 18 firefighting vehicles and equipment were deployed, and the fire was completely extinguished by 11:26 PM.
There were no casualties from the fire, but one pigsty where piglets were raised was reduced to ashes, and it is estimated that 1,100 piglets died.
