Hampyeong-gun Conducts Worker Safety and Health Training for Industrial Accident Prevention
Over 200 Active Workers Targeted
Hampyeong County conducted the 2nd quarter worker safety and health training to prevent industrial accidents.
According to the county on the 26th, on the 25th, the 2nd quarter regular safety and health training was carried out for about 200 field workers at the theme video hall of Hampyeong Expo Park.
This training was prepared to strengthen the safety capabilities of field workers and prevent industrial accidents.
On that day, a professional instructor from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, a specialized safety and health institution, was invited to cover topics such as job stress and health management tips.
The county plans to conduct a second training session next month on the 22nd, covering methods for hazardous materials safety management.
A county official said, “Through education on preventing serious accidents, we will create a safe and healthy workplace free of industrial accidents.”

Meanwhile, field workers are required to complete six hours of mandatory safety and health training each quarter in accordance with the Industrial Safety and Health Act and related regulations.
