Partial Water Inflow in Suin-Bundang Line... Service Suspended for 2 Hours 20 Minutes Then Resumed
Sudden water inflow in a section of the Suin-Bundang Line caused train operations to be suspended for about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Service has now resumed.
Korail announced on the 25th at 11:08 AM that water had entered a section between Seoul Forest Station and Apgujeong Rodeo Station on the Suin-Bundang Line, leading to a temporary suspension of train operations in both directions between Seolleung Station and Wangsimni Station. Service resumed at 1:29 PM.
It was reported that about 6 cm of water flooded approximately a 20-meter section of the tracks, and no trains were trapped due to the flooding.
