Gwangju Seobu Fire Station Conducts Special Mountain Rescue Training
On the 25th, the Gwangju Seobu Fire Station announced that it conducted special training at Pungam Neighborhood Park to strengthen the mountain accident response capabilities of rescue team members in anticipation of an increase in hikers.
This training aimed to enhance the on-site response capabilities of rescue team members through mountain accident type-specific rescue manuals based on previous accident cases, ensure the safety of on-site dispatch personnel in response to various mountain accidents, and identify causes of potential safety accidents at various sites to prevent human casualties.
The 17 Seobu rescue team members who participated in the training focused on ▲theoretical education on mountain rescue equipment specifications and usage ▲training on horizontal rescue and rope utilization rescue ▲compliance with and understanding of standard operating procedures at disaster sites.
