Full Effort to Support Busan World Expo Bid... Busan Bank Donates 3 Billion Won in Sponsorship Funds
Busan Bank is continuing its company-wide efforts to attract the 2030 Busan World Expo.
In addition to promotional activities using internal and external media and content that have been ongoing since last year, the regional representative bank made a generous donation to support the bid for the World Expo.
On the afternoon of the 24th, BNK Busan Bank held a donation ceremony at its headquarters to wish for the successful bid of the ‘2030 Busan World Expo’ and delivered the donation to the 2030 Busan World Expo Citizens’ Committee.
Busan Bank conveyed a donation of 3 billion KRW to the committee, reflecting the wishes of all its employees, and the committee plans to accelerate promotional activities for the World Expo bid based on the received funds.
Park Eun-ha, Executive Committee Member of the 2030 Busan World Expo Citizens’ Committee, who attended the ceremony, said, “As local citizens and the business community are united in their desire to attract the Expo, we will continue to strive for a good outcome.”
In April, BNK Financial Group, the parent company of Busan Bank, established a TFT to support the 2030 Busan World Expo bid and formulated a support strategy involving all affiliates, making every effort as the region’s leading financial institution to back the World Expo bid.
Busan Bank is conducting various social contribution activities to cheer for the Expo bid, such as the ‘Camellia Children’s Art Contest to Wish for the 2030 World Expo Bid,’ and in collaboration with Busan Transportation Corporation, introduced a themed train on Busan Metro Line 1 to support the Expo bid. At Sajik Baseball Stadium, LED advertisements with slogans supporting the Expo bid are displayed to share the hopes of baseball fans.
Additionally, Busan Bank is playing its role in raising public interest and spreading enthusiasm for the bid by launching customized financial products and discovering differentiated promotional strategies using the Dongbaekjeon platform and mobile banking.
Busan Bank plans to continue its company-wide efforts by producing a 2030 World Expo cheer song featuring employee participation and promoting it to citizens via SNS.
