Gwangju Dongbu Police Station Holds 'Youth Delinquency Countermeasure Council' Meeting
The Gwangju Dongbu Police Station is actively working to create an environment where youth can grow up healthily.
On the morning of the 24th, Dongbu Police Station held a 'Youth Delinquency Countermeasure Council' at the police station, attended by 10 local youth-related officials including district office, education support office, and youth counseling welfare center directors.
During the meeting, police initiatives such as prevention of youth drug crimes and theft were introduced, and each institution shared their efforts related to school violence and protection and support for at-risk youth.
It was agreed to jointly respond to youth crime and at-risk youth issues with related organizations, and to activate integrated solution meetings for various counseling connections, treatment, and support for those requiring urgent assistance.
