Muan-gun Namak Sarang Forum Launches Rural Labor Assistance Initiative
Namaksarang Forum in Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (President Ju Byeong-ryul) conducted a 'rural labor assistance' activity on the 21st to help Kim Gyeong-suk's farm in Jisan Village, Samhyang-eup, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do, which is struggling with labor shortages as the full-scale farming season begins.

According to the county on the 23rd, this volunteer activity was organized to raise understanding and interest in agriculture and rural areas and to help spread the urban-rural coexistence movement. About 20 members participated in the activity, working hard on tasks such as harvesting and cutting onions and planting sweet potatoes.
Members who participated in the volunteer work said, "It was a meaningful time to empathize with the difficulties faced by rural communities and farmers," and added, "We intend to continue various volunteer and social contribution activities to support the challenging agriculture and rural areas in the local community."
Meanwhile, it was mentioned that the sweet potatoes planted this time are planned to be used for a harvesting experience for urban children in the fall.
