Gangbuk Samsung Hospital Establishes Disaster Recovery System to "Enhance Disaster Resilience"
Kangbuk Samsung Hospital announced on the 23rd that it has completed the establishment of a Disaster Recovery (DR) system and has begun its operation.
The DR system is designed to restore services or systems to normal when they are interrupted due to various natural disasters or human-caused risks. With the implementation of this system, Kangbuk Samsung Hospital has strengthened system stability by ▲preventing data loss through backup data ▲ensuring continuity of medical services through real-time rapid recovery in case of disasters ▲quickly recovering from system failures.
Unlike hospitals that have systems built nearby, Kangbuk Samsung Hospital explained that it established the system at the Samsung SDS data center located 71 km away, creating a stable dualization structure.
