CU plans to introduce the IoT-based integrated monitoring solution, the Energy Management System, to about 50 stores nationwide next month.
By introducing the Energy Management System, the system sets the optimal contracted power, reducing the basic electricity fee, and automatically controls heating and cooling devices before peak power is reached, preventing excess charges. It also allows real-time monitoring of electricity usage and accumulated data, and features an automatic control function for heating and cooling devices based on indoor temperature standards to reduce unnecessary electricity consumption.
