Namwon City Hosts 'Byeolbyeol Couple Sweet Cinema' Event at Gwanghallu Garden

Namwon City in Jeonbuk announced on the 22nd that it held the ‘Byeolbyeol Couple Sweet Cinema’ event at Gwanghallu Garden on the 19th.

‘Byeolbyeol Couple Sweet Cinema,’ conducted as part of the ‘Namwon Tourist Attractions RE-PLUS Project’ by the Namwon Tourism Council and the Namwon RE-PLUS Project Promotion Team, is a program where visitors can enjoy DJ performances and outdoor movie screenings on a large 300-inch screen at Namwon tourist sites.

Couples of two people in various forms, such as lovers, friends, or family who love movies, can participate, and chairs, wireless headsets, and other items are provided to participants who apply online in advance.

The program will be held four times in the first half of the year. On the 27th and 28th, the movies ‘Begin Again’ and ‘Song for You’ will be screened at Jogapnyeo Salpuri Myeongmu Hall located in Namwon Yechon, and on the 10th of next month, the movie ‘White Lion Charlie,’ which can be enjoyed with pets, is scheduled to be shown at Yocheon Ecological Wetland Park.

The ‘Namwon Tourist Attractions RE-PLUS Project’ is a regional tourism development project supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism until 2024. With the vision of ‘a lively travel destination of Love (LOVE) and Fantasy (ACTIVE),’ it plans various experiential contents such as Couple Day on the last Saturday of every month to leap forward as a young and love-filled travel destination.

Ryu Jaehyun, head of the Namwon RE-PLUS Project Promotion Team, said, “Through Byeolbyeol Couple Sweet Cinema, we hope to gift healing and happiness to couples and expect it to contribute to Namwon City establishing itself as a sacred place for couples in the long term.”
