View original imageGangbuk-gu (Mayor Lee Soon-hee) announced that it will operate the ‘Uicheon Walking Challenge’ to support healthy walking activities and promote physical activity among residents.
The challenge will be held from May 22 to June 16 through the mobile app ‘WalkOn’. Those who wish to participate can install the walking app WalkOn on their smartphones and join by selecting the ‘Uicheon Mobile Walking Challenge’.
The certification course is approximately a 3.1km section along the Uicheon Ecological Park Trail, connecting Ssanghangyo, Sinchanggyo, Choangyo, and Wolgye 2nd Bridge. Participants must activate location information or location services on their smartphones before walking to be recognized as completers. After finishing, pressing the ‘Receive Achievement Coupon’ button allows them to enter a draw to receive mobile gift certificates.
The district plans to draw 100 residents who achieve the challenge goal to receive mobile gift certificates worth 5,000 KRW. For more details about the challenge, please contact the Health Promotion Division at Gangbuk-gu Public Health Center.
