President Yoon Holds Bilateral Talks with India and the UK Today... Remarks at G7 Expansion Session
On the second day of his visit to Japan, President Yoon Suk-yeol will speak at the expanded session of the Group of Seven (G7) on the 20th and hold a series of meetings with leaders from India, the United Kingdom, and others.
On this day in Hiroshima, President Yoon is scheduled to meet consecutively with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
Depending on the summit schedule, there is also a possibility of additional bilateral meetings with one or two other countries.
In the afternoon, President Yoon will deliver remarks at the expanded session of the G7 summit, which includes invited countries and international organizations along with the G7 member states.
Although South Korea is not a G7 member, President Yoon is attending the G7 summit at the invitation of the host country, Japan. This marks the fourth time a South Korean president has participated in the G7 summit.

President Yoon is expected to attend the sessions on Food, Health, Development, and Gender, as well as on Climate, Energy, and Environment, where he will express the Korean government's intention to expand its contributions to global issues.
