Dong-Eui University Receives 'Excellent' in Annual Evaluation of High School Education Contribution University Support Project
Dong-Eui University was recently selected as an excellent university (Type ⅰ) in the 2023 Annual Evaluation of the University Support Project for Contribution to High School Education conducted by the Ministry of Education.
This annual evaluation targeted 91 participating universities (Type ⅰ - 77 universities, Type ⅱ - 14 universities) and focused on reviewing the 2022 project operation results and the 2024-2025 academic year college admission plan implementation. The universities were evaluated as 17 excellent, 58 average, and 16 unsatisfactory.
Universities that received an excellent evaluation in this annual assessment are granted an additional 20% project funding, and Dong-Eui University will receive approximately 1.17 billion KRW, which is a 20% increase from last year.
Dong-Eui University has established various systems for transparent college admissions, such as operating an observation system involving external teachers and education office officials. Additionally, it has formed consultative bodies with education offices and high schools to support the operation and preparation of the high school credit system to be introduced from the 2025 academic year, continuously striving to strengthen the connection with high school education.
Kim Sam-Yeol, Director of the Admissions and Public Relations Office at Dong-Eui University, stated, “We plan to operate various programs such as admissions briefings, mock evaluations, and customized online and offline counseling to systematize the education and training of admissions officers and staff, enhance the professionalism and fairness of admissions, and reduce the burden on parents and students.”

The University Support Project for Contribution to High School Education is a project supported by the Ministry of Education to design college admissions reflecting high school curricula, strengthen evaluation capabilities and the operation system of admissions, and enhance fairness in college admissions.
