Galaxy A24 Official Subsidy Up to 325,000 KRW... Actual Purchase Price in the 20,000 KRW Range
The three mobile carriers announced on the 19th that they will offer a maximum official subsidy of 325,000 KRW for Samsung Electronics' 'Galaxy A24' smartphone.
The carrier providing the highest official subsidy is LG Uplus, offering up to 325,000 KRW. Following that, SK Telecom provides up to 200,000 KRW, and KT offers 153,000 KRW.
The Galaxy A24's retail price is 396,000 KRW. With additional retailer subsidies of up to 15% of the official subsidy, LG Uplus customers can purchase the phone for as low as 22,250 KRW depending on the plan. This amounts to approximately a 94% discount. However, receiving a 24-month contract fee discount of 25% is cheaper than the official subsidy.
The 'Galaxy A24' features a large 6.5-inch (164.2mm) Super AMOLED display. The rear camera setup includes three cameras: a 50MP main camera, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The front camera is 13MP. The rear camera is equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Video Digital Image Stabilization (VDIS) functions.
