Changwon Facilities Corporation Wins 'Best Award' at Regional Preliminary of CPR Contest
‘Heart Saver’ Team to Represent Changwon City at National Competition This June
Employees of the Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam recently won the Grand Prize at the '2023 General Public CPR Competition Regional Preliminary' held at the Changwon Fire Headquarters.
The "Changwon Facilities Corporation Heart Saver" team, consisting of five members including employee Shin Dong-ho from the Changwon Football Center, represented the Changwon Fire Headquarters and received the award.
This competition, organized to increase the rate of CPR performance among the general public, featured a total of 9 teams and 45 participants representing the Changwon Fire Headquarters as well as the Uichang, Seongsan, and Masan Fire Stations, engaging in fierce competition.
The contest was conducted by simulating a cardiac arrest situation, showcasing an 8-minute performance and emergency treatment skills.
The Heart Saver team received high scores for their excellent emergency treatment skills, including the initial 119 call and CPR, as well as their engaging stage performance.
Employee Shin Dong-ho said, "Preparing for this competition made me realize once again the importance of CPR, and it was a meaningful opportunity to develop the ability to actively respond to emergency situations."

The Heart Saver team will represent Changwon City at the '12th National General Public CPR Competition' hosted by the National Fire Agency on June 22.
