'Airport Operation Improvement Committee' Launched... Composed Entirely of Private Experts
On the 18th, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that it will form the “Airport Operation Improvement Committee” (hereinafter referred to as the Committee), composed entirely of private sector members, to more boldly identify and promote operational improvement tasks related to overall airport use, and will hold its first meeting on the 19th.

Accordingly, the Committee will play a role in reviewing the necessity of promotion by considering more comprehensive policy measures from the perspective of users rather than airport managers, and recommending improvements to the government and airport corporations.
The Committee plans to begin deliberations on the agenda of “Improving Convenience for Transportation Vulnerable Groups” on the 19th and continue its activities until November.
