Joining the ‘Single-Use Items Zero Challenge’ to pledge reducing the use of single-use items in daily life
Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced its participation in the ‘Single-Use Items Zero Challenge’ to practice reducing the use of single-use items.
Starting with the Minister of Environment on February 27, the ‘Single-Use Items Zero Challenge,’ which several organizations are currently joining, was initiated to build consensus among members of society and encourage voluntary participation by reducing the use of single-use items and promoting the habitual use of reusable items.
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, stated, “Reducing single-use items begins with small practices in daily life,” and added, “We hope all residents actively participate in reducing the use of single-use items.”
