On the 17th, the two institutions held a business agreement ceremony at Korea Polytechnic University Seongnam Campus and agreed to join forces to train semiconductor fieldwork experts and support employment.
According to the agreement, the two institutions will collaborate on ▲developing and operating training courses for semiconductor fieldwork talent ▲employment linkage support ▲utilizing each institution's human resources, technology, and facility resources ▲and promoting projects in areas of mutual interest.
The Gyeonggi Job Foundation will leverage its role as an employment service hub for Gyeonggi residents by providing professional capabilities in career counseling and job creation/startup support. Korea Polytechnic University Seongnam Campus will actively support by utilizing its state-of-the-art educational facilities, equipment, and cooperative company networks.
Chae I-bae, the foundation's CEO, emphasized, "It is important to secure competitiveness through educational programs that systematically develop the capabilities required on-site," adding, "We will contribute to creating quality jobs through the strengths of both institutions."
The foundation is operating the Gyeonggi Future Technology School together with Gyeonggi-do to nurture talent tailored to the 4th Industrial Revolution. The "Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology Specialist" course, scheduled to start in June, will be held at Korea Polytechnic University Seongnam Campus.
