Gu Jabong, CEO of Riu Development, Donates 100 Million KRW to Dong-A University Development Fund
Gu Ja-bong, CEO of Rio Development, donated 100 million KRW to Dong-A University as a development fund.
Gu Ja-bong, a member of the Class of '82 in the Department of Tourism Management at Dong-A University and an executive member of the Alumni Association, made another donation of 100 million KRW this time, following his contribution in 2021.
The development fund handover ceremony was held on the morning of the 15th at the President's Office on the Bumin Campus, attended by President Lee Hae-woo, CEO Gu Ja-bong, Shin Jeong-taek (Chairman of Sewoon Steel) who is also the President of the Dong-A University Alumni Association, and Park Hyun-tae, Director of External and International Affairs.

He added, "I contribute this development fund with the intention of emulating President Lee, who is devoted to the development of the school, and Chairman Shin Jeong-taek, who serves as the central figure in the advancement of the Alumni Association."
Chairman Shin said, "I believe it is remarkable that businesspeople make donations even in difficult times," and added, "I hope this sets a model case where more alumni participate in donations for nurturing juniors out of love for their alma mater."
