A Large Complex of 2,000 Households to Be Built Near Danggogae Station... Sangye 5 District Redevelopment Plan Approved
An apartment complex with more than 2,000 households will be built in the vicinity of Danggogae Station on Subway Line 4.
On the 17th, Seoul City announced that at the 4th Urban Redevelopment Committee held on the 16th, the redevelopment promotion plan amendment (draft) for Sanggye 5 Redevelopment Promotion Zone (around 109-43, Sanggye-dong, Nowon-gu) was passed with conditions.
Through this decision, Sanggye 5 District will have a total floor area of approximately 290,000㎡, with 2,042 apartment units (including 349 public housing units) in buildings up to 33 floors high. Public facilities necessary for the area, such as a comprehensive social welfare center and elderly care facilities, will also be established.
In addition, in connection with the Danghyeoncheon Stream restoration project promoted by Nowon-gu, a waterfront park will be created where residents can enjoy various outdoor activities such as cultural events and daily relaxation while feeling the ambiance of the waterside.
