Samsung D Signs Wage and Collective Agreement with 4.1% Increase Rate
Samsung Display labor and management have reached a final agreement on the 2023 wage and collective agreement, including an average wage increase rate of 4.1%.
Samsung Display labor and management announced that on the 15th at 2 p.m., they held a 'Wage and Collective Agreement Signing Ceremony' at Asan 1 Campus, attended by labor and management representatives and negotiators, including Vice President Yoon Seong-hee and Yoo Haram, Chairman of the Open Labor Union.
Starting with the wage and collective bargaining introductory meeting in January, labor and management conducted 15 rounds of negotiations and tentatively agreed on the 2023 wage and collective bargaining proposal on April 27. The agreement includes an average wage increase rate of 4.1% and a 'Monthly Off Day' system, which grants one day off per month if eight hours of fixed overtime work are completed within the month. Additionally, a cash welfare point of 1 million KRW will be provided.
