Damyang-gun and Gwangju Metropolitan City Nam-gu, Sisterhood Partnership for Joint Development
On the 12th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 15th that it had signed a sisterhood agreement with Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City to promote mutual development through exchange and cooperation.
The agreement ceremony was held at the Damyang-gun video conference room, attended by Lee Byeong-no, the governor of Damyang-gun, Kim Byeong-nae, the mayor of Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, and city and county council members.
Both local governments plan to build a close cooperative relationship based on mutual respect and trust and collaborate in various fields such as economy, culture, tourism, and sports.
Governor Lee Byeong-no said, “Let us promote various cooperative projects that serve as a model for local governments through sister city exchanges,” adding, “I look forward to strengthening our friendship and the prosperous future of the two cities.”
