KOSPI Starts Lower, Weakness in Early Trading Session
The KOSPI, which started slightly lower on the 15th, is showing weakness in the early session.
As of 9:20 AM, the KOSPI index is trading at 2467.37, down 0.33% (8.05 points) from the previous trading day.
The index opened the session at 2469.80, down 0.23% (5.62 points) from the previous trading day.
By investor type, individuals and foreigners are net buyers of 11.1 billion KRW and 38.3 billion KRW respectively, while institutions are the sole net sellers with 48.8 billion KRW.
Among the top 10 market capitalization stocks, only Samsung Electronics and Samsung Electronics Preferred shares remained flat, while all other stocks declined: LG Energy Solution (-1.65%), SK Hynix (-0.57%), Samsung Biologics (-0.38%), LG Chem (-0.44%), Samsung SDI (-0.60%), Hyundai Motor (-1.20%), Kia (-0.56%), and NAVER (-1.87%).
At the same time, the KOSDAQ index is trading at 814.03, down 1.02% (8.40 points).
The KOSDAQ opened at 820.50, down 0.23% (1.93 points) from the previous trading day.
By investor type, individuals and institutions are net buyers of 65.8 billion KRW and 9.2 billion KRW respectively, while foreigners are net sellers of 70.3 billion KRW.

Among the top 10 KOSDAQ market capitalization stocks, HLB (0.29%), JYP Ent. (0.21%), and Pearl Abyss (0.82%) recorded gains, while EcoPro BM (-2.64%), EcoPro (-4.78%), Celltrion Healthcare (-0.83%), L&F (-0.63%), and Kakao Games (-1.02%) declined. Celltrion Pharm and Osstem Implant are trading flat.
